Conflicted!
Hi! It's 5:13 pm now, and today was a day of conflicts. I'll update a short update. Next update will have the comic, and maybe a dream analysis or something.
So I wake up, do a bit of assignment, and then Jason comes over a little bit before I have to go to class. So I'm conflicted... go to class? Or play UT2004 with Jason? Well, UT won in this case, so I stayed home.
Then came the optional animation film viewing session. Should I go or stay? I decide to go.
I was expecting today that we'll watch either Miyazaki's Nausicaa or Spirited Away. I haven't seen Nausicaa, so I was looking forward to it, but unfortunately, today's options were changed to Spirited Away and Grave of the Fireflies, which I've both seen.
So I decided that if It was gonna be Spirited Away, I would stay for a bit, and then leave, since i've seen it more recently. If it was going to be GotF, I would also stay for the first 1/3rd or so, and then leave.
Anyway, it was chosen to be GotF - and this time... for some reason.. it was sadder. The first time I saw it, I didn't think it was so sad - but 2nd time around, it felt sadder for some reason. Yeah... it was pretty sad... a heartwarming story... sadness... I definately recommend it. I should get it. Anyway, so then I decided that instead of leaving so early, I would leave when the guy in front of me left, because he's seen both movies as well. Anyway, I stayed and watched the whole thing. So did he.
Now I'm back, and Brian's here, and Betty and Vanessa are cooking dinner for us. Brian and Alan went out to get some lettuce. So Betty and Vanessa are in the kitchen.
And of course, instead of being beside them, I'm here typing in my blog.
