1000 Ninjar words

Alright, back in February, David, Ambrose, and Jia came up during our non-reading week portion of their reading week. During that time, David took a wonderful self-tour through waterloo, with lots of pics and footage. So I looked through them, and here are some of them for your viewing pleasure. I chose the ones that I think look pretty cool, conceptually or otherwise cooly.

The pictures have only been edited by cropping (to remove people if they don't want to be seen) and by reducing size.

Food

Sky

Conceptual, or... other

And last, but not least... - an awesome looking space station base?

Really - I didn't notice it was DC for 0.5 seconds, and I just thought it looked really, really cool. It looks like a really cool... base... they should turn DC sideways one day..

So... that pretty much makes my journal entry huge.

Wow... it seems David has found some parts of DC that I DIDN't EVEN KNOW EXISTED!! Like that part with the wavy patterns of the stools... well, Alan knows where it is - near the System Design place - so he'll take me there one day.

And the most memorable video clip... David was by our road, and there were a few little cars going back and forth, so it was pretty peaceful... and David says "it gave me a sense of amazement.." and all of a sudden, this huge school bus comes ROARING by and breaks the tranquility of it all... I thought that was pretty funny.

You guys are probably wondering why I have a picture of a keyboard. I thought it looked pretty cool. Anyway, hope you guys enjoyed this journal entry as much as I did. Don't forget to read the tiny one below this one that probably won't get any attention if I didn't say anything :P.
