Syberian Yagyu
So... it's Monday now, after Logic class, 90 minutes until Number Theory class.
Anime: Saw Gunslinger Girls 11 yesterday; Henrietta is still pretty damn omni. Downloaded Full Metal Alchemist 18 and Jubei Chan 2 ep 1 yesterday, they were both finished by the morning, and then I was conflicted on what I should see. So I decided to watch Jubei Chan 2, and... it's not bad. Like, it was good... but not amazingly great, and not terribly horrid. It's similar to the first one, with the same types of humour and all that. Music is different, so I'll have to get used to it. So maybe I'll post a more comprehensive review if anyone asks for it. Gotta watch Full Metal Alchemist 18 now...
I had a dream last night. Actually, nowadays I can understand where my dreams are coming from... like, the things I do every day, or what I read about, they affect my dreams. It's just now I can see it much more clearly.
So it's reading week, or reading days, and Wen wants us to go on a trip. I forget where, but I think we were gonna take a train. So it was myself, Wen, Alan, and Duy, and the dream starts on the morning of the trip. I think we were a tad late, so we had to hurry to get out of the house. Of course, in my dreams, the house is different and etcetera. so now we were in a big crowd, outside the trainstation (it was all wintery outside), and we all have our backpacks with clothes and all that. I couldn't find too much clothing, but I figure since we're only staying for 2 days (although later Wen tells me it's for 4 or 5), I don't need that much clothing.
So now I'm fidgeting through my pockets and bag, trying to find my ticket. uh oh. Where could it be? It's important, so it might be in my pocket... then again it could be on my computer desk, or by my bedstand thingy. So ... I think I head back home, to look for it.
Home was a... let's say, "rustic" ;) home. Like a cabin, in the summertime, near dusk, with sun shining in a window. There were a few wooden chairs in this empty room, but not much else. Now this part's a bit weird... it's like I'm already awake, because somehow I told my character "forget this part, I don't want to dream about struggling to look for a ticket", so then I just looked on the floor and the ticket was there, so I a grabbed it and ran back to the trainstation.
hmm... I think that might be the end of the dream. Where did all this come from? Well, there are several trips people planned for Reading week, none of them which I'm going cuz I think I'm gonna go home and enjoy and relax. Also, Wen wanted to do something during the reading week break (d20 game), so that's where why Wen planned a trip for reading week. hmm... that might be it.
Next part of the update... from the weekend... the Daniel's No Frills shopping experience. Starting on Sunday, they were having a "$1 event", where a lot of things in the store were $1, ranging from Michelina's frozen dinners (usually around $2) to chips to meat to pogos to juice, etc. etc. So after dropping off David at UTM (he slept over, then he had to go to karate, I'll describe this in a later journal entry), we went to No Frills. We got to the parking lot shortly after 11, and then we WAITED IN LINE starting from 11:11. Yeah, there was a big lineup to get into the store, with policemen and other officials guarding the door so that you can only enter the store after a certain number of people exit the store.
Unfortunately, we didn't have a cell phone on us, so we couldn't call home and ask about what we should do. We were planning to go to Swiss Chalet for lunch at around 12, cuz sister had driving lessons at quarter past 1. Anyway, so we started waiting in line at 11:11. The line was moving pretty slowly... like, we'd wait for 10 minutes, and then the line moved up a bunch, etc. etc... So every now and then when we thought of leaving, the line would move forward and we'd be so much closer to getting in. And of course, if you're next to go in, you can't just leave the line, that'd be such a waste. So we finally got into the store at 11:41.
Bought stuff. Got out at... umm... I don't remember. 12:20 something. Spent about $82 in food. Anyway, we ended up not going to Swiss Chalet, but oh well. So that was my Sunday grocery shopping experience.
Time to heat me up some Michelina's Roast Turkey .. meal... thingy... and toast me a piece of bread, and then start watching Full Metal Alchemist 18. See ya later!
