Final Trigger, Solid Cube

Well, it's almost dinner time, so a short update. Svankmajer is a sick man. haha. His theme in his animations and live actions/animations is about 'destruction of human effigies'. that's what teacher says, and it's true.

Anyway, Final Trigger, Solid Cube. That's right. It's my dream again!

Wen was in the dream, and we were playing around with the gamecube outside, in our townhouse complex, on the ground. It was night time, and we switched some stuff on the game cube... like, we opened up the side (the thing that makes the monkeys fall), and we took out their sound adapter (which looked like a nes cartridge) and put in a different sound adapter, and then we can hear gba-like sound coming from the cube. We also had one of those small screens attached to the cube, I think.

... well, my plan wasn't to tell the entire dream right now, but I'll continue for a bit. So we were playing like, chrono trigger or something, or mixed with final fantasy... I haven't recollected the whole dream yet, so I remember some other part where Wen's character was stolen by some guy, and I followed them, and i was... like... the dude from Splinter Cell, but since I haven't played much of splinter cell, I'll pretend I was playing Metal Gear Solid. So I come into this dark, dark, cave, with water up to my thighs, and it was hard to see... so I threw something up in the air and I shot it, and it made a really bright light.

... I'll continue the dream when I remember more of it.

Dinner time soon. PM 330 studying afterwards. Then I should start reading the animation book, since the midterm has been moved from next Thursday to next Tuesday. whee... 20% presentation today, went ... okay, other than my nervousness. So between today and the end of Tuesday, 40% of my final mark is decided. And then comes the 60% essay at the end.

So technically, after Tuesday, I don't have to attend anymore screenings or lectures cuz they don't have any testable material anymore - it's just an essay - in my case, unless I change my topic, it's about the evolution of anime. I guess that doesn't have a thesis, so it's a research paper. Some other guy is doing the same topic, so I should talk to him and see if we could divide the timelines so I can only do recent evolutions and he can do earlier evolutions, or something. Or I can change my topic...

ooh ooh! maybe I can do a paper on hentai... the psychology of hentai, or the authority (or whatever word I was thinking of), of hentai as a pornography medium... damn, that sounds like a fun topic... gonna have fun doing research ^_^

haha. Or not. So as it stands, I'm doing evolution of anime.

Wheeee....
