Bo-bo-bobobobo ~Bo-bo ~bobobo
Alright... so it's already the 22nd. Had a good long weekend, although not as long as other people's... grrr... so I wish it could've been longer. Had a fun saturday, a fun tuesday, wednesday, etc. so overall it was a pretty good weekend. Didn't get any studying done, but I prepared half of my 'anime' presentation for my animation class, so at least I got something accomplished.
I would be lying if I said I didn't have the time to write a long update, but I won't be lying if I said I was lazy right now. So... yeah, I'm lazy right now... or I should work on my anime presentation... yes yes. It's a busy week ahead of us, I'd say.
Wednesday, part 2 of my group project is due - hopefully since I did a lot of work on the first part, my project partner has done most of this part - the web page presentation. So hopefully I don't have to work on that too much.
Thursday, I have my anime presentation. 10 minute long presentation, with at most 3 minutes of video - so unfortunately I couldn't show all that is anime, just a few minutes here and there. Other than being nervous, I think I'm on schedule - just gotta work for a few hours, try to add more content (cuz I don't think I can talk for 7 minutes), etc... but it should be okay.
Friday, comes the PMATH 330 Logic midterm. Am I ready? No. I haven't done as many assignments as I hoped I would've, and while I did attend a lot of lectures, I can't say I'm really ready for it. Should go over some assignments... hopefully I'll have time Tuesday night.
Also, Wen is scheduling our next d20 game for Friday night, since no other time during the weekend would be feasible.
Saturday is the VSA poker tournament. I still have to practice a bit (with the betting and bluffing and all that), and Alan definately needs practice. We should have a practice game after the d20 game, if it's at all possible. It would be good practice for Andy as well. I've already set aside a bunch of pennies and dimes so we can have a practice run. Gotta win that PS2!
Sunday is the Magic the Gathering, UW Sci-fi club, Darksteel tournament. Should be fun.
So $20 gone on Saturday, $30 on Sunday. This'll be an expensive weekend... not to mention on Monday, when we have to go to Futureshop and buy games for our brand new PS2! ;) just kidding... or am I?
Not sure what's happening the week after this one. There's my 'history of animation' midterm on the Thursday of that week, but other than that, not too sure what else. And then in a few weeks I have my birthday, I hope I get a lot of presents *hint hint*. And then a few weeks after that, Sonja, a friend on my message boards from Oregon, is coming to visit Toronto - so there'll be a party of some sorts, and I have to meet her, since she's so cool... ;) (she doesn't know about this blog, but oh well).
After midterm time, everything seems to be in such a rush... cuz now, it's a busy busy time until finals come by...
... oh right. Bobobobo, the title. It's the name of an anime. Jia has seen the intro, and he's gone crazy because of it (yeah, more crazy than usual). I endured the whole show, and I got Duy to watch the whole show also. Best two words to describe it, like many anime, are "weird" and "crazy". If you have the time, and you feel like watching something crazy (about a guy who fights using his hair), then come over and watch some bobobo.
Oh yeah, saw Gunslinger Girl, last episode, episode 13. I'd say it ended well, but of course, I'd rather it go on for much longer. Hopefully there'll be a 2nd season, or some sort of continuation.
Now I'm listening to the cutest thing - from the last ep of Gunslinger Girl - Beethoven's 9th symphony.
Okay, I lied. this wasn't really a short update, or maybe I didn't say it was but I intended it to be short. You win this round... people reading my blog... ...
